We proudly offer an open-catering policy, giving you the freedom to choose the culinary experience that best fits your style, budget, and vision—within a few simple parameters to ensure seamless service in our space. For couples who prefer a curated and stress-free option, we also maintain a vetted list of preferred caterers who know our venue intimately and deliver exceptional results. This balance of flexibility and expertise allows you to explore wide-ranging cuisine possibilities while still benefiting from trusted professionals.

 

Your choices truly shape your day, and we’re here to support whichever direction feels most “you.” This level of freedom is one of the reasons couples love choosing our venue—because their celebration looks, feels, and tastes exactly the way they want it to.

Catering FAQ

What policies do my caterers need to know?​

  • Power arrangements must be communicated with at least two weeks prior to event.

  • We are a warming kitchen and do not allow cooking inside our building. We do allow cooking outside if needed. Feel free to use a personal pop-up tent if desired. If cooking on site, please lay down protective drop cloths under spaces that might be damaged by food drippings.

  • All materials and equipment, must be removed from premises after event. All trash from event is the responsibility of the caterer to remove to our approved trash receptacle.

  • Kitchen and outdoor spaces must be returned to it's original state. Please wipe down all surfaces and sweep floors. We will provide trash bags and receptacles for your use. Please check in with Collins staff for final approval at end of night.

  • If tables are needed, please inform us 2 weeks previous to event. A max of 2 (8-ft) or 2 (6ft) tables will be provided. We have ample kitchen counter prep tops in our kitchen space.

  • If client is using our something borrowed chargers, they must be cleaned, dried and stacked at end of evening.

  • All scraping must be done in the prep kitchen.

What are the rules for rentals?

  • Collins at the Clocktower has a same-day in and out policy for outside rentals. Any outside kitchen equipment being rented through a 3rd party provider must be authorized by a Collins Venue Rep. Drop-off and Pick-up times must be indicated and approved.

  • Blue Sky Event Rentals will be used for client’s table-side rentals, i.e dinnerware, flatware, water goblets etc.

What if I want to bring in my own desserts?

  • Sounds like a delicious time to us! We simply require that you assign your caterers/planner/friend/family member to manage the dessert table.

Licenses, insurance, where to start?

  • Vendors and all vendor employees and sub-contractors must be covered by their company’s worker’ compensation insurance or by their own personal insurance. Contractor Insurance Requirements:    
                                              
    i.   USD $1,000,000 per occurrence combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage    ii.  USD $1,000,000 products and completed operations                                           
    iii. USD $1,000,000 personal and advertising injury

  • Certificates of Insurance must include the following listed as additional insured:
    The Collins Off Main, LLC, and the respective officers, directors, partners, employees and all such additional insured parties. 

  • You must be Licensed to serve in our facility.

How do vendor meals work?

  • We have a designated space set up for vendors to eat their meals. We do ask that DJ, Photographer and Videographer are served no later than after family in order to maintain strict timeline needs.
