A historical Michigan landmark, the Clocktower is a notable pillar in the Chelsea community. Built in 1906, the building was originally constructed as a water tower. This iconic building was then home to the worlds largest stove factory, Michigans first brewery—Real ale company, and the teddy bear factory!

Welcome to Collins at the Clocktower. We’re the Collins family, and we’re so glad you’re here.
I’m Amy—a Michigan native, wedding planner, wife, mom, and someone who cares deeply about how people feel when they walk into a room.
My career in weddings began more than two decades ago, long before Doug and I met. Through Amy Grace Events, that work took me from Michigan to California, where I spent years planning celebrations in Santa Barbara and beyond. I loved the creativity, the relationships, and the chance to help families celebrate something they would remember forever.
Along the way, Doug and I met, married, and began building our own life together. Eventually, that life brought our family back to Michigan, where we could be closer to loved ones and put down roots of our own.
Today, the businesses we’re building together are a meaningful part of our family’s story. Collins at the Clocktower is one of the places where we get to welcome you into it.
A Place With History—and Room for Your Story
There’s something special about celebrating a new beginning in a place that already holds so much history.
For us, the Clocktower’s character and its place in downtown Chelsea made it easy to imagine the celebrations that could happen here: families coming together, friends reconnecting, and a room full of people cheering on a couple they love.
Our vision is to pair that character with thoughtful design and warm, attentive hospitality. A place where you can make the day your own and feel comfortable asking questions along the way.

After years in the wedding industry, I’ve learned that the details people remember aren’t always the ones you can photograph.
They’re the way they were welcomed. The person who noticed they needed a little help. The feeling of being able to settle in and enjoy the celebration.
That belief guides how we approach our work and the team we build around us. We care about the beautiful details, and we care just as much about the preparation, communication, and thoughtful service that help a wedding feel good from beginning to end.
